- Final rule of the Department of Environmental Conservation amends regulations under 6 NYCRR 200 and 218 and repeals regulations under 6 NYCRR 252 regarding emission standards for motor vehicles. The rule incorporates California's new and amended standards for low-emission vehicles, zero-emission vehicles, greenhouse gas emissions, environmental performance labels, catalytic converters, and warranty requirements. The rule also deletes existing requirements for environmental performance labels. The rule is effective Dec. 9, 2012, except for provisions under 6 NYCRR 218-7.2(c), which are effective June 1, 2013.
