- Final rule of the Department of Public Health and Environment, Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division, amends regulations under 6 CCR 1007-2, Part 1, Sections 1.2 and 16, to implement a statewide landfill ban for residentially generated electronic devices or components of electronic devices. The rule also replaces existing provisions regarding disposal of motorized vehicle equipment wastes with new provisions regarding management of materials prohibited from land disposal, including residentially generated electronic devices, used lead-acid batteries, used oil, and waste tires.
