- This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of sheet, strip, and plate. These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength up to 1300 °F (704 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1500 °F (816 °C), particularly those parts which are welded and then heat treated to develop required properties, but usage is not limited to such applications.
