- This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forging, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. Primarily for parts requiring good weldability and high strength-to-weight ratio operating from -250 degrees to -423 degrees F (-155 degrees to -255 degrees C). the room and elevated temperature strengths of this alloy are lower than those of AMS 4926 and AMS 4966.
