In CISPR 12, Using outside ground or OATS that has metal ground plane is permitted when electromagnetic interference from a vehicle or a small boat is measured. If it is measured in anechoic chamber, the place needs correlation with outside ground and OATS. The purpose of this study is to get a method to proof site adaptability for electromagnetic interference measurement from a vehicle. In this investigation, a long wire antenna that has 0.5m length element same as chamber calibration method of CISPR 25. The long wire antenna is put on a ground plane that is 2.5m×1m and the ground plane is set 1m height from the floor. The long wire antenna is set 6 positions and measure each by each. In order to investigate a site characteristic, a simulation result and actual measurement result are compared. Through this investigation, we found a better way to proof a site adaptability for electromagnetic interference measurement from a vehicle. In this report, we will explain measurement method, simulation method and comparison method for site verification.
