Abstract

Content: The safety concepts applicable to the design of the primary systems for the new generation high performance business aircraft are presented and discussed. The systems designs employed in the Lockheed JetStar are used as examples of how these concepts are applied to achieve the high level of operational safety demanded by business operators.
