Regarding the rapid development of the aircraft assembly process, this paper will illustrate the logical and efficient systematics intelligent assembly process of the aircraft. A thorough review of research papers was carried out to make the researchers able to develop and implement an aircraft complex assembly process and database system on aircraft assembly process based on a knowledge management system (KMS). At the beginning, the aircraft assembly process data is discussed in this paper, such as aircraft product assembly plan, design data, manufacturing process data, and virtual simulation data to implement or develop the systematic mechanism for intelligent aircraft assembly processes. Later, key technology of intelligence assembly production unit of aircraft is discussed such as control technology, real-time monitoring, real-time management, material distribution, application of internet things. Finally, a new innovative systematic mechanism of the intelligent assembly process model is proposed by the combination of the assembly process of aircraft and the intelligence production unit. The proposed model will assist the aircraft researcher in achieving an intelligence decision model on the aircraft/aircraft product assembly process. The proposed model is an innovative idea and has a practical value on intelligent aircraft manufacturing and the production cycle of an aircraft.
