Some Suggestions on the Management of Engineering Activity

This paper discusses the validity of the assumption that engineers are really people, the motivating stimuli in the business environment, the nature of authority, what the manager gives in exchange for what he expects, management obligations, communications and frustrations, and the challenge of the least satisfactory employee.
