- The copper industry has standardized on a new series of color-controlled copper alloys for automotive exterior and interior applications. These alloys are described along with newly-developed protective coating systems, and system test methods and procedures. A new experimental automobile in which these new coated alloys have been applied in exterior, interior and engine styling components is described and illustrated.
