- This paper presents the design and development of a novel suspension system for vehicle cabins, specifically aimed at improving ride comfort and reducing maintenance time and costs. The system features a detachable stabilizer bar pivotally coupled to a pair of brackets connected to the vehicle chassis. The stabilizer bar is removably connected to a pair of connecting links, which in turn are oupled to a second pair of brackets attached to the cabin. This configuration allows for easy access to the engine bay during maintenance without disassembling the entire suspension system. Additionally, the system includes damper units and pivot arms that enhance ride comfort by isolating vibrations from the chassis. The proposed design is particularly beneficial for commercial vehicles with fixed cabins, as it reduces idle time during engine overhaul and improves overall ride quality for occupants.
