Abstract
Content
By developing TopFlight ADIRU (Air Data Inertial Reference Unit) for civil aircraft avionics, THALES is establishing a new standard to comply with most demanding RNP-AR navigation procedures. Indeed, this new generation of inertial reference product goes a step further in the management of positioning integrity, continuity and availability, to simplify crew operations in demanding conditions.
This is done through dedicated GPS/inertial hybridization algorithms, and their extensions to supplemental failure detection and exclusion.
