Authors Abstract
Content
The assessment of hybrid tractor architectures raises several questions such as the suitable amount of electrical power to install and how to design the hybrid drivetrain with respect to the tractor's functionalities and requirements. For the medium term, it is expectable that tractors will provide around 100- 150kW of electrical power. This electrical power will be used: to drive tractor internal consumers (fan, AC compressor…), to enable traction and to supply connected implements with electrical power. We assume that the apparition of the electrification ad hybridization for agriculture machinery will follow two major phases; transitory phase and final phase. We focus this work on the transitory phase. During a transitory phase, the mechanical power take-off (PTO) and hydraulic supply for the implement will coexist with an electrical power supply. In this work, we try to imagine the different scenarios and the prospects of the apparition of the hybrid technology in the agriculture machinery domain.
