- Modeling and simulation play a key role in the engineering design and verification process. Modern simulation tools allow for creation of wholistic system models, considering all interactions of the system to create a multiple model. The digital models accelerate the process of design and verification thus saving human and material resources. Also enables to predict system behavior before a system is built and analyze systems accurately under varying operating conditions in the Agile environment. Modeling and simulation are especially valuable for verification conditions that might be tedious to reproduce with hardware prototypes alone, especially in the early phase of the design process when hardware may not be available. Iterating between modeling and simulation can improve the quality of the system design early, thereby reducing the number of errors found later in the design process. Modeling helps to create a virtual representation of a real-world system that includes software and hardware, If the software components of this model are driven by mathematical relationships, we can simulate this virtual representation under a wide range of conditions to see how it behaves. This paper focusses on providing a solution using the modeling and simulation methods for early detection of defects during the design and verification activities in Agile practices of the program. This approach proposes to use a Windows based Docker desktop application to simulate the Linux environment to resolve the dependency on the external hardware systems.
