The Vibration Advisor Expert System is one of these great ideas with a significant amount of time and money invested and a proven functionality that didn't make it. This paper will describe the project and offer for discussion and thought, some of the reasons for implementation failure. It was the right tool at the right time - but it did not benefit the Corporation.
