- India, like other expanding nations, is giving priority to modernizing its transport infrastructure in response to the growing need to increase mobility and road safety. The difficulties and implementation problems that were faced when implementing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in India are thoroughly technical analyzed in this study. This paper, which draws on worldwide research and case studies, offers insightful information about successful ITS deployment and the particular difficulties encountered in the Indian setting. A detailed understanding of cutting-edge technologies and how they integrate with current infrastructure is essential for India's adoption of ITS to be successful. Effective implementation depends on collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, such as governmental agencies, transportation authority, and technology companies. This study identifies the best stakeholder management practices using examples from around the world.
