Authors Abstract
Content
Current offline-programming (OLP) solutions are rather generic and support the user just in positioning of the robot on point-by-point bases with a virtual teach-in like approach. Support of the user with respect to process specific knowledge is missing.
However, advanced robotics applications like drilling, riveting, 3D surface coating and milling can easily reach a couple of thousands working positions.
