Authors Abstract
Content
In current market scenario Reliability & Durability of components as became prime focus, with the advent of BS VI emission norm there is tremendous increase in peak firing pressure due to high pressure common rail system and various emission solutions. Crank train system is getting subjected to a never before forces & loading due to emission & performance requirement. For achieving the competitive reliability & durability of main moving parts oil pressure plays a most vital role. In this study the performance optimization of oil pressure has been carried out by experimenting with oil grades & bearing designs. This study comprises of selection of oil & bearing, simulation and finally proto development & verification. Further, the result were compared and best solution recommended.
