In order to accurately, conveniently and safely test the relevant mechanical response of lithium-ion battery under various charge and discharge conditions, it is proposed to develop the corresponding test bench. The test bench mainly includes mechanical system and measurement and control system. For the measurement and control system, a monitoring and test system software is developed, which cooperates with the relevant hardware to realize the reliability and convenience of data acquisition. For the mechanical system, in order to ensure the local heat dissipation performance of the test system in the test bench, the heat dissipation simulation comparison of the designed local test systems with different structures is carried out to initially select the better test system structure; in order to ensure the safety of the lithium-ion battery during the charging and discharging test in the test bench and the loss ratio of the expansion force of the lithium-ion battery transmitted by the test bench, a thermal-mechanical-electric coupling characterization of the lithium-ion battery during the charging and discharging process is proposed. The equivalent method is used to simulate the complex response between the lithium-ion battery and the test bench during the charge and discharge process, so as to finally select an optimal test system structure. Finally, the short pulse periodic excitation test is carried out to verify the accuracy of the heat dissipation simulation results, and the actual expansion force test is carried out to verify the selected optimal measurement system structure. Based on the developed test bench, the test and data acquisition of mechanical response signals related to lithium-ion battery can be carried out accurately, conveniently and safely, which provides the data basis for the development of battery management system integrating temperature-current-voltage-displacement-force.
