- With the development of intelligent transportation system and the rapid development of vehicle-road cooperation technology, intelligent vehicles have gradually become the mainstream. When bad weather such as rain and snow occurs, the tire utilization adhesion coefficient of an intelligent vehicle decreases and the braking distance increases. If the intelligent vehicle can’t perceive and adjust to current road conditions in time, rear-end collision can happen. Therefore, the slippery road condition perception system is required to assist intelligent vehicles to perceive the road condition in time. However, the existing road condition perception system mostly works independently, which brings incoherent road-condition information from Road-Side to Vehicle-Side. As a solution, this paper designs an integrated road-slippery condition recognition system based on vehicle-road cooperative. Firstly, a pre-trained road-slippery condition recognition model with modified threshold is built based on Inception-v3. Secondly, the vehicle-road cooperative network based on WAVE IEEE 1609.3 protocol is set up, the real-time vehicle-road communication based on DSRC is realized. Finally, a fuzzy forward-distance control of intelligent vehicle is carried out based on slip rate matrix and dangerous distance curve. The whole system shows high real-time performance, low omission rate and good recognition accuracy under four typical road conditions’ test.
