Urban air mobility is becoming popular because of the time crunch every individual has. The urban air mobility companies need to expand their business to different customer segment, by making them affordable to everyone. An affordable Urban Air Mobility will transform the way urban population would commute on daily basis. This has an impact on the lives of the people as it will reduce the daily travel time. The Urban Air vehicles are faster, they should be affordable, electric & autonomous to reach larger population. There are autonomous land vehicles being released to the market, and the mobility companies are making investments to make their fleet autonomous. The autonomous vehicles running on the road have multiple algorithms running in their computer systems based on Artificial Intelligence, and these systems and the algorithms are very complex. This complexity is directly associated with the environment where these vehicles move / travel. How it will be in the case of Airborne Systems. How it will be if the Urban Air Mobility becomes autonomous? In this background, here is a comparison study of autonomy in the Urban Air Vehicles and Urban Land Vehicles.
