École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) student engineers developed an electronic continuously variable transmission that was the first of its kind used in Baja SAE competition.
INNOVATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PART of our team spirit, something we share with the more than 25 other scientific clubs at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal. We designed our Baja SAE car with stunning aesthetics to turn heads, but also to stand out due to the highly complex technologies we incorporated.
In 2017, we set a new bar by being the first team in the history of the Baja SAE to win a competition (California) using an electronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). It worked so well that we went on to win again at the Baja SAE Illinois event.
