Life Prediction Method of LiFePO4 Traction Battery based on Interval Charging Capacity

The evaluation and prediction of the life cycle of new energy vehicles are the main focus as well as an obstacle of the industry. Considering the actual electric vehicle application, the 18650-type LiFePO4 power battery was taken as the object to carry out experiments and verification under different cycle conditions. Combined with the complex working conditions of electric vehicles and user habits, the equivalent correspondence between interval charging capacity and discharging capacity in the cycle process was analyzed and compared thoroughly. The results show that in different working conditions and different life stages, interval charging capacity can replace discharging capacity as the characteristic parameter of life cycle evaluation and prediction.
