With over 35 years of diverse experience in the off-highway industry, Duane Tiede steps up to a new challenge-leading SAE into its 100th year.
Growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota, Duane Tiede helped his father operate and repair agricultural equipment from the time he was a child. Those hand-son skills and real-world experience led him to the University of Minnesota, where he earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Agricultural Engineering-a field he describes as the perfect combination of his interests in engineering and farm equipment.
