EDITORIAL: Word on the street at COMVEC

Last month's SAE COMVEC technical conference in Indianapolis welcomed many high-level engineering leaders who spoke to show-goers about a range of important topics impacting on- and off-highway vehicles.

The two main tracks at the event, Fueling the Future and Charging the Future, covered various alternative propulsion and electrification trends and technologies (see features on pages 22 and 29). And of course, automated driving systems and the best approaches to achieving highly automated vehicles were on the docket.
